This place was mind-blowing! The cottage exceeded our expectations and had all the amenities we could ever ask for - from the super comfy beds to the spotless cleanliness. Nichola, our hostess, was amazing and always available if needed. The location was jaw-droppingly convenient, with shops, bars, and restaurants just steps away. We had the most delicious meal at the Edge restaurant and a mouth-watering takeaway from the Passage to India. We will definitely come back and stay here again. Thanks, Nichola! x

The cottage exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and amenities. The spacious bedrooms and comfortable beds ensured a cozy and pleasant stay. the cottage was impeccably clean, which added to our overall satisfaction. The location of the cottage was also a major plus point, with shops, bars, and restaurants just a stone's throw away. This made it incredibly convenient for us to explore the area and enjoy meals at nearby establishments.

Despite the numerous positives, there were a few drawbacks to our stay. the lack of some basic necessities was a bit disappointing.

The location was perfect for our family, as we love hiking and exploring the outdoors. There were plenty of scenic trails nearby, such as the breathtaking Whitby Abbey trail and the stunning Robin Hood's Bay walk. Our kids absolutely loved the adventure and it kept them entertained throughout our stay. The cottage itself was fantastic - cozy, spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds and a spotlessly clean environment. Nichola, our hostess, was absolutely fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed. The convenience of having shops, bars, and restaurants right on our doorstep was a definite plus. We enjoyed a delicious meal at the Edge restaurant and also treated ourselves to a lovely takeaway from the Passage to India. We would definitely come back to The Corner House for another wonderful family vacation. Thank you, Nichola!

My children wished there was a small outdoor play area for them to enjoy.

The cottage had everything I needed for a cozy stay, including a washing machine for when I accidentally spilled my tea, and free WiFi for browsing funny cat videos. The views of the lake and river were lovely, especially when I pretended I was on a tropical vacation.

Oh, and let's not forget the charming surprise of hiking up the stairs to reach my room. Who needs an elevator when you can test your endurance?

The room at The Corner House in Whitby was cozy and inviting, with a warm and homely atmosphere. It had everything I needed, including a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. I felt right at home as soon as I stepped in.

The only thing I didn't quite enjoy was the size of the bathroom. But hey, that's just me.

We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at The Corner House in Whitby as a family. The location is perfect for families who enjoy hiking, as there are beautiful trails right on the doorstep. We had a wonderful time exploring the stunning coastal paths and taking in the breathtaking views. It was a great opportunity for the kids to get some fresh air and exercise while experiencing the beauty of nature. The convenience of being able to step out of the cottage and start our hiking adventure was truly wonderful.

For dads, it would be great to have a small playground nearby for the children to enjoy.
